This is a Release Preview version of IE10 which is equivalent to Release Candidate (RC) version so its quite stable and feature-rich version.
At first glance IE10 looks quite similar to previous IE9 version but there are a few small UI changes in IE10 which are mentioned below:
The back and forward buttons have been updated a little.
Now there is more transparency in tabs.
Tabs are now more clean similar to Windows 8 UI.
Scroll bars have also been updated to match Windows 8 theme.
One more new and welcomed feature which we noticed while using IE10 is the built-in spell checker. Finally Microsoft has added the much awaited and most requested feature "Spell Check" to IE10. Its enabled by default and automatically checks the words for spelling mistakes in text boxes.
IE10 also comes with new "Auto-correct" feature which automatically corrects the incorrect words which exist in IE's built-in dictionary. Try to type come common words incorrectly and IE10 will automatically replace them with correct words. So now you'll not need to use any 3rd party software or add-on to get spell checking feature in Internet Explorer.
Also a new feature "Reopen last browsing session" has been added to IE10 which will help many IE users in restoring their last visited websites. You can access this option using Tools menu,
Along with these UI changes, Internet Explorer 10 also comes with many performance improvements, security improvements and support for HTML5 and CSS3 standards. According to Microsoft, IE10 for Windows 7 provides the same HTML5 engine which is present in IE10 of Windows 8. It supports rich visual effects such as CSS Text Shadow, CSS 3D Transforms, CSS3 Transitions and Animations, CSS3 Gradient, SVG Filter Effects. It supports sophisticated page layouts such as CSS3 grid, flexbox, multi-column, positioned floats, regions, and hyphenation, HTML5 Forms, input controls, and validation.
